Why Codeberg and not GitHub?

Codeberg is managed by a non-profit organization and hosted in Europe.

GitHub is managed by Microsoft, will train AI on your data and it's getting more and more unstable.

Why AGPL and not MIT/BSD/etc?

I'm not opposed to other licenses, but I think a copyleft license is the more appropriate one for open source applications. You get all the benefits of an OSS license, and I don't have to worry too much about companies reselling my work with custom changes.
